Humidity from hell, and each new lap hotter than the last.
Welcome to long distance running in the subcontinent. We
wanted a running short that's light, and swift drying over hours
while having the right pocket design for stocking needs of
distance running.
Cue the Athlos Distance Running Shorts, our most technical
shorts yet
PEAK
PERFORMANCE
The Distance running shorts have been a design challenge over the years. A great pair of running shorts dries swiftly on the go, offers freedom of long strides, and tops it with max comfort. That's the shorts we wanted to build. The Recycled Nylon fabric feels fast owing to its swift drying fiber and the silky soft texture. The lightweight knit feels agile, and the 4-way stretch ensures you feel unrestricted even on your longest stride.
4-POCKET
PERFECT
Runners have certain stocking needs for race days and long endurance runs. Gels, cash, keys, and the occasional cellphone. Relax, we have it covered. 2 unique side- pockets to store gels. One zippered back-pocket for keys and the 4th one on the liner - built to support your smartphones holding them tight against your body. And all of this comes minus any bounce or bulk.
UNDERWEAR /
NO UNDERWEAR
A common question that floats around in running circles is whether you should wear underwear under lined running shorts. The inbuilt liner plays the role of underwear perfectly and we strongly recommend not wearing any underwear under our distance running shorts
They are really really good. Mumbai humidity need something like this. And yeah you don't need to wear an undergarment with them.
Good one athlos. If you can reduce the price may be I can get more...
Bought a pair of distance shorts from athlos and its perfect fit and fabric feel is good and comfortable to run with mobile and keys in pockets. After running with it for few weeks, one possible design improvement i can suggest is that inner layer can be redesigned for men and that would make it perfect
Probably the best running shorts ive used till date.
Id love to own a black one
Hopefully it comes out soon
We want to minimise our environmental impact and have been a work in progress. We always skipped plastic, and since June 2020, we started shipping our orders minus extra tags, invoices, and content that often ends up in trash.
