• We completed
    8 years.

In March 2023, Athlos completed 8 years. If you were to ask us, on some days we'd say it felt like jumping off a cliff and figuring out how to build wings on the way down.

On other days we’d say it feels like a sisyphean task of pushing a boulder up a cliff, except we have learned how to enjoy it in parts. Either ways, as our tryst with going up or down the cliff happened, we also did build a few products that let you run, climb, and camp around cliffs, if not jump from them.

As we have evolved from a scrappy startup from 2015 to a less scrappy looking small business in 2023, we are sharing 8 of the memorable highlights we've had through our journey.

    1

Launched the Bamboo fabric with anti-odour tech. While we took some time to get the fit right, the anti-odour tech worked right from hour zero.

Launched our first Olive coloured Bamboo tee. If left to a certain team member, Olive would have been the default colour for everything and yet we took 2 years to launch our first Olive shade in 2017.

    3

Our first running tee, the distance tee. Combined natural goodness of Eucalyptus with poly to get the best of both worlds.

    4

Launched our running shorts made from Recycled Ocean Waste. 4 years hence its become the staple running shorts for our users: training, race-day, ultra rides alike.

Again, if left to certain team members our collection would have been white, black, grey, and muted pastels (and of course Olive). Yet, we launched shades of Neon in our running shorts, albeit in matte finish. We call them highlight and carrot.

Our personal experience across years of hiking leading to development of our Merino collection. We developed a blend that keeps your core temperature the same be it across cold, frosty trail runs to mid-day sunny hikes.

We tested it right from running half marathon in Let to cycle rides in Bombay to monsoon hikes in the Sahyadris and aptly call it “Merino for Tropics

    7

Combined our fabric expertise to design the period underwear, a product that confluences 4 different fabrics to deliver a leak proof underwear. We will call it the coming of age (or at least teenage) product for our product team.

    8

We progressively managed to build enough customer love. As of now 41% of our orders are from our repeat users. Our users love us, and keep coming back for more.
